Wyandotte Youth Community Organizers is an immersive training workshop that combines hands-on learning, paid field experience, and volunteer hours—all in one. You’ll gain the skills to develop a successful and safe field plan while organizing your community around real, pressing local issues. Best of all, you choose the issue that matters most to you.

What to Expect?

Learn

You are required to complete the 18 Hour Training Curriculum to start Paid Work. If you miss more than 3 hours of training you may be asked to join the next workshop.

Experience

You can earn up to $300 by completing up to 20 hours of field outreach in Wyandotte County using a plan that you create and advocate or collect data on important local issues that you vote on.

Give Back

You will complete 12 hours of volunteering on community benefit projects through Justice for Wyandotte.
